Prepare for the GED® Math Test (Self-Paced Tutorial)

Master the skills required to pass the Mathematical Reasoning module in the GED® test series. You will start off with a review of math basics and begin building the foundation you will need to solve the types of math problems commonly found on the test. In the process, you will develop hands-on experience with percentages, proportions, statistics, algebra, geometry, and more.

Taking both part 1 and part 2 of this course will prepare you to perform well on all three question types on the LSAT: reading comprehension, logical reasoning, and analytical reasoning.

You will also learn test-taking techniques developed by The Center for Legal Studies and taught to thousands of prelaw students around the world. LSAT Preparation – Part 2 provides an intensive review of reading comprehension and logical reasoning questions, including techniques for quick elimination of incorrect answers, explanations and interpretations of correct answers, and proven approaches for selecting the correct answers.

SAT/ACT Prep Course – Part 2 (Self-Paced Tutorial)

Making the decision to attend college is one of the most important decisions you will ever make, and your performance on college entrance exams is instrumental in determining your college choice. Universities and colleges throughout the U.S. require applicants to take the SAT or ACT as part of their evaluation package. This course will prepare you for both tests.

SAT/ACT Preparation Part 2 will give you all the information you need to do well on the math questions of the ACT and the new SAT. The ACT math tests your knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic statistics. This course provides you with a complete math review of all these subjects. You’ll also learn how to use your time wisely so that you finish as many math questions as possible in the 60 minutes the ACT gives you for the math test. In addition to reviewing arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic statistics, you’ll also cover functions and other algebra II subjects now tested on the SAT.

In addition to preparing you for specific question types on both exams, this course will give you pointers in time management, anxiety relief, scoring, and general standardized test-taking. This course, along with Part 1, will prepare you to excel in all sections of the undergraduate college entrance exams and provide you with the means to achieve your best potential score.

TEAS Prep Series

Entering the profession starts with nursing school, and admission to nursing school partially depends on your Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam score. Many nursing schools use this standardized exam to evaluate a candidate’s reading, math, science, and English and language skills.

Our TEAS Prep Series will prepare you for all aspects of the TEAS exam. TEAS Prep 1 focuses on Reading and English and Language Usage. TEAS Prep 2 focuses on Mathematics and Science. You will also learn valuable study skills, practice sample exam questions, and establish a test taking strategy for exam day.

TEAS Prep 2

Nursing school is the first step to becoming a nurse. Admission to nursing school depends on several factors, including your score on the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS).

The TEAS Prep 2 course prepares you for the Mathematics and Science portion of the TEAS exam. You will learn to analyze and solve mathematical and scientific question types, similar to common TEAS questions. By course completion, you will be fully prepared for the TEAS Mathematics and Science section.

This standardized test assesses a candidate’s skills in reading, math, science, and English language usage.  

The self-paced TEAS Prep 1 course will prepare you to sit for the Reading and English Language Usage portions of the TEAS exam. You will learn to critical reading and language skills, including rhetoric, author’s tone and purpose, points of view, and standard conventions of English grammar and spelling.
